What Buyers Want Most Right Now
Turnkey & Move-In Ready: Homes that require zero immediate renovation or heavy lifting are receiving the most attention. Buyers love turnkey homes that they don’t need to put in any additional work into.
Realistic Pricing: Buyers are knowledgeable and are skipping overpriced listings, zeroing in on homes that are priced correctly from day one. Or they are making calculated offers on homes that have been overpriced and have been sitting on the market for 100 + days.
Seller Concessions: Buyers are actively looking for closing cost and repair credits, as well as rate buydowns.
Incentives from Builders: New-construction builder promotions continue to draw strong interest. For some buyers, this makes all the difference in whether they go the new build route or the resale route.
